I read your request; I can rewrite the build function to use your Makefile, provided it lets me set the necessary compile and linker flags from Go packaging guidelines.

For future reference, if you need something changed, please comment down here below; don't file a deletion request. After I change the PKGBUILD, I'll add you to co-maintainers.
