meson includes an `arch-meson` script that sets the arch defaults when building. https://git.archlinux.org/svntogit/packages.git/tree/trunk/arch-meson?h=packages/meson

@Agrendalath: fixed, sorry if it took some time

@Switch: the `plugdev` group owns the driver device files. You need to add yourself to the plugdev group in order to use razercommander. It's as simple as running the command that you see in the output, it's in your comment as well. Open up a terminal and run: sudo gpasswd -a <YOUR_USERNAME> plugdev Where <YOUR_USERNAME> is your actual username. If you're not sure what's your username, run this command: whoami

@Switch, did you try running the suggested command? (Note that this step is also mentioned at https://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/Razer_peripherals#Installation_2 )

when i try to run the __main__.py it gives me the following, ERROR: you are not part of the plugdev group. Add yourself to it: $ sudo gpasswd -a <YOUR_USERNAME> plugdev what is this plugdev ? i have tried to look around for this, but no solutions to be found. is there someone in here that knows how to fix this. because i really dont see where to make this plugdev account! thanks :D

@Agrendalath, I made that comment 8 months ago, and it still hasn't been fixed. :/

Could you provide correct $pkgver? Currently pkgver() returns `1.2.0.r6.gefd04b3`, so it always needs to be updated.

Don't do `glib-compile-schemas`, `update-desktop-database`, or `gtk-update-icon-cache` in the .install file, they're all already handled by pacman/alpm hooks.

Please read https://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/VCS_package_guidelines : This package should set its $pkgver variable using a pkgver() function. You shouldn't bump $pkgrel every time something's changed upstream. Just rebuild the package and pkgver() will update the $pkgver for you.
