The author has just fixed this upstream @jezza. :)

Thanks again! It works now, so you were spot on. Also thanks for submitting the Gitlab ticket. All happy now! :-)

Well thx for reporting that.

After some debugging, I figured you'd likely be using some locale where the "decimal point" is not an actual dot, but likely something like e.g. a comma (at least this was a way for me to reproduce the error on my end). For example in the german locale, decimal numbers are represented as 1,23, as opposed to 1.23.

This can cause two certain printf statements in the script to fail in the way that you experienced.

For the time being I modified the package to use the default locale for the according statements, and the user defined one everywhere else. I will also submit a ticket to the Gitlab repo though, since it would be much better to have this fixed upstream.

For now, you should be good without taking any further action (except updating), but please report back in case there are still issues for you.

Thank you! I removed reddio-git and its dependencies, then deleted ~/.cache/yay/reddio-git. This time, I installed reddio-git manually with makepkg. When I now run 'reddio', I get this:

/usr/share/reddio/pretty-time.sh: line 47: printf: 4.89: invalid number

Looking in that file, I see this:

printf '%.1f %ss ago\n' $_int.$_frac $2

I am not knowledgeable enough to fix this though. Thanks for your help!

Thanks for your comment. Actually, you shouldn't need to set the environment variable, nor the setting in the config file. Could u pls try again without setting any of these and report back if it works ? I'm currently not at my box, but I'll look into this when I'm back home later today.

Very promising cli app (I watched DistroTube's video on it), but following the GitLab README.md regarding setting the location of the library directory by either using environment variable or setting the lib_dir in $HOME/.config/reddio/config hasn't made it work for me. Am I overlooking something?

Thank you for looking into this and for your comments.
