Hey, to the person who flagged this out of date. That perl package isn't the same as the C project this one is based on.

Hello, could you update links to https?

There is newer version of the perl rename, suggest using this updated version at: https://github.com/ap/rename version 1.601.

Changed the upstream location because berli is gone

The package has been updated to build correctly again, and the PKGBUILD should now comply with the new standards- Cheers!

Fails to build with these errors/warnings: http://pastebin.com/AHu4ZhRR

@jose1711: Thanks for pointing that out! I'd made correctly for me because the patch was in the source tarball, but it wasn't included in the PKGBUILD so 'makepkg --source' didn't pull it in; luckily I still had my build folder sitting around :) The package has been updated to revision 5 and now includes the patch!

/home/jose/tarballs/pacman/rename/PKGBUILD: line 19: ../../rename.c.patch: No such file or directory i wonder where's the patch..

Hey all, I've adopted the package, added Nha's change and updated the PKGBUILD syntax a touch
