@Celti Apologies, you're absolutely right. For some reason, I hadn't installed base-devel on this machine.

Celti commented on 2024-01-21 21:23 (UTC)

@pescepalla All three of those are drawn in by base-devel, which is assumed to be already installed when building with makepkg. Dependencies of base-devel should not be included in makedepends.

flex, m4, and bison should be added as build deps

Can the author add imdkit in the next update to enable fcitx input method in rofi

sperg512 commented on 2023-06-11 17:54 (UTC)

Apologies for the delay. This package has been updated to remove the check function for now. I will add it back when rofi is next updated (anyone know why the delay?)

Existing users do NOT need to reinstall.

Hi,

For now you have to download it with nocheck flag.

With yay :

yay -S --mflags "--nocheck" rofi-lbonn-wayland

Thanks for tracking that down and pursuing (recursively) upstream, @Celti.

Celti commented on 2022-10-03 21:57 (UTC) (edited on 2022-10-03 21:58 (UTC) by Celti)

This has been fixed upstream in libnkutils and upstream rofi. Until a new version of lbonn rofi has been released, you can bypass the issue by building with --nocheck.

Okay, so the issue AFAICT is that the test in libnkutils is expecting %e to return numbers padded with normal spaces when it currently returns them padded with U+2007 FIGURE SPACE. This change was made in glib four months ago in https://github.com/GNOME/glib/commit/7074122f308b7b3402fba250f2010778fdad6eff, present in glib 2.73.1 and later. libnkutils needs to be updated for the change.

I've properly reported this upstream at https://github.com/sardemff7/libnkutils/issues/4
