When installing on EndeavourOS with the command yay -S rtl8821cu-dkms-git, I get the error:

search for devel packages failed: '/usr/bin/git ls-remote https://github.com/morrownr/8821cu-20210118 main' encountered an error: fatal: could not read Username for 'https://github. com': terminal prompts disabled

I checked on github and the address below does not exist in the repository:

Hello,

Now with new update of Kernel linux66 (6.6.2-1 -> 6.6.3-1) on Manjaro, it works!

I haven't checked, but judging by the description https://github.com/morrownr/8821cu-20210916/blob/main/README.md the kernel is not yet supported

Seems not working with the latest LTS Kernel (on Manjaro).

[h2@h2-imedias1800 ~]$ dkms status

rtl8821cu/5.12.0.1742b48616, 6.1.63-1-MANJARO, x86_64: installed

[h2@h2-imedias1800 ~]$ mhwd-kernel -li
Currently running: 6.6.2-1-MANJARO (linux66)
The following kernels are installed in your system:
   * linux515
   * linux61
   * linux66

But I don't have the device on hand to test it with the latest LTS kernel, I lent it to a relative.

Doesn't seem to work with newer kernels, the following package works for me: https://aur.archlinux.org/packages/rtl8821cu-morrownr-dkms-git

build broken from v5.19.2 error: too few arguments to function ‘cfg80211_ch_switch_notify’ and others... Upstream commit 7b0a0e3c3a88260b6fcb017e49f198463aa62ed1 has been backported to v5.19.2 breaking build of os_dep/linux/ioctl_cfg80211.c

replace 'source' in PKGBUILD with
