@fidde You don't, github-style merge requests are not native to git, it's also the reason why Linus Torvalds himself rejects github. For this kind of repository you would generate a .patch file (really easy to google) and send via email or paste it on pastebin and post it here.

Gitlab can also generate it for you, just go to the commit, click "Options" (top right corner) and "Email Patches", like this:

Not sure how to proceed with merge request and such, but I have updated rtorrent-vi-color to work with rtorrent v0.9.7. You can find it here:

The note about the possible config options in the *.install file is incorrect(outdated i presume), small trap for people that don't read the comments on the aur website.

The makepkg is failing because the upstream url is broken. The rtorrent tar.gz is hosted on github now, not libtorrent.rakshasa.no

Updated the color patch to match the one in rtorrent-color from the AUR because I like how the patch allows for more color options. The .rtorrent.rc syntax names for the colors has changed and now is as follows; color_active_fg, color_inactive_fg, color_dead_fg, color_finished_fg color_active_bg, color_inactive_bg, color_dead_bg, color_finished_bg Colors: 0 = black 1 = red 2 = green 3 = yellow 4 = blue 5 = magenta 6 = cyan 7 = white

Updated to rtorrent-0.9.4 Thanks to randomize46 for the updated keybinding patch. I also updated the colorizing patch to work as well. Enjoy.
