I still have the error related to pkg_resources:

Traceback (most recent call last):
  File "/usr/bin/s-tui", line 6, in <module>
    from pkg_resources import load_entry_point

Fixed by installing package python-setuptools, which seems to be needed not only for installing, but also for running.

thanks, updated

This package fails on run:

Traceback (most recent call last):
  File "/usr/bin/s-tui", line 6, in <module>
    from pkg_resources import load_entry_point
ImportError: No module named pkg_resources

I believe it should be using python, not python2. Making this change in the PKGBUILD fixes the issue.

hi @saildata, thanks for the point. I updated the dependency and also updated the makepkg to be in line with current AUR raccomendations; please let me know if run fine for you.

makedepends should be python2-setuputils, not python-setuputils
