Are you able to update the seafile-git and seafile-client-git packages you maintain in the AUR? I noticed python2 is no longer a build requirement, and installed it myself using just python successfully.

Ever since python2 is removed from the official package repositories, it has become quite the hassle to install through clients like yay, since they insist building the entire python2 package from source, which comes with a wide range of other unnecessary problems. :D

Thanks for your consideration

@tovo Same here. I guess the archive attached in this package is based on a master branch containing a bug. The other package named "seafile" unfortunately does not compile either as its PKGBUILD does not contain the correct checksum value. I'll try to build the other package with a difference checksum value to see if it's working.

Hi, I'm trying to use seafile-git to sync remote folder with a local. Once, I've configured the access, I tried the synchronisation one. I can see that it succeeded because I can see the content of my local folder in the web interface. The problem is that, since this sync is configured, seafile-applet couldn't start anymore.

When I run it, I have the following messages :

lang = English, translation = (null), locale.name() = en_US

(process:10873): GLib-WARNING **: 11:16:29.800: (../glib/glib/gerror.c:416):g_error_new_valist: runtime check failed: (domain != 0)

(process:10873): GLib-WARNING **: 11:16:29.800: (../glib/glib/gerror.c:416):g_error_new_valist: runtime check failed: (domain != 0)

Any help will be appreciated.

Cheers
