Examination of the PKGBUILD indicates that this package is installing the binary. It should build from source, available at https://github.com/paulpacifico/shutter-encoder

Clean chroot. Fails to build. Checksum error.

Upstream package was modified, hence the error with pkgsum. Updated now, thanks for the heads up.

Edit: my repo order was wrong, so the error below is fixed now:

I get an error trying to install this with yay:

warning: cannot resolve "libfmt.so=8-64", a dependency of "mkvtoolnix-cli"
warning: cannot resolve "mkvtoolnix-cli", a dependency of "shutter-encoder"
:: The following package cannot be upgraded due to unresolvable dependencies:

@tuxdieci, I've updated the package to the 16.1 version. It seems that the upstream source is removed when a new version is released, sorry about that.

Until PKGBUILD is updated to 15.7 you can use:

pkgver=15.7

Same as mentioned for the version below can be done for the new version 15.5

Edit the PKGBUILD, change the vars:
