@mainrs: What command are you running? I just tested the latest update (7.6.0-beta.1), and it works fine in a clean build.

As of today, this package stopped working. I get an error message telling me Failed to generate signal-desktop-beta-bin information.

Changed to your gtk2 free version today on 2 machines. (signal-desktop-beta-bin 6.15.0beta.1-1) No problems so far. Great.

Dropped gtk2 from the dependencies, tested as well, but please report if you face any issues.

Are there any plans to change from gtk2 to gtk3? I cannot use this version because of gtk2 conflicts ...

Fixed the arch, was trying to get the package working on ARM64. For anyone else looking for it: signal-desktop-arm

Why did the arch change to aarch64? The package is clearly x86_64

@fow0ryl: It seems like an intentional change (https://github.com/signalapp/Signal-Desktop/commit/5a3c9c7332b1525ba4ede2f0febf109099d34452). The app is now picking up locale from the environment using an Electron API (or your desktop environment). Signal Desktop language has changed to english whith 5.29_beta_1 :( While 5.28 is still german ....
