@madness06 I'm pretty sure I used openbsd-netcat for a good reason, notably it not working without it. I'm wary of changing something without further investigation, especially considering you're using this on Manjaro.

There should not be dependency on openbsd-netcat! Snowmix script "snowmix-setting" tries to detect proper command for netcat to use. On manjaro, it fallbacks to regular "nc", while for BSD version it should be "nc -N". The result is that snowmix-settings hangs and that breaks scripts such as av_output2screen. Gnu-netcat should be used instead.

@OJaksch yikes, thanks for pointing this out. Should be fixed in pkgrel 4.

@CounterPillow No, mikhailnov is right so far as you export the wrong version of snowmix in current snowmix.sh . I'd suggest to create '/etc/profile.d/snowmix.sh' by pkgbuild as you can draw on pkgver and other vars when needed.

CounterPillow commented on 2016-06-10 00:34 (UTC)

@mikhailnov That variable is already set by a profile.d entry. Make sure you source it after installation; it should already be automatically set on subsequent logins.

mikhailnov commented on 2016-06-09 20:37 (UTC)

Can you please add the variable into the package? $ snowmix Error. Environment variable SNOWMIX was not set. The environment variable must be set to the installation directory of Snowmix or the base directory of the Snowmix package.

I think you've forgot a dependency: tk. This is needed because it delivers wish. Also the snowmix.sh-skript would like an update to 0.5.1 for directory-names. But thanks for going through the trouble of creating an AUR for this software.

@OJaksch: Thanks for trying this out, added armv7h to architectures.

OJaksch commented on 2016-03-30 10:30 (UTC)

...and could you please add arch 'armv7h'? It is working in general on RPIi2/3. For me it has video glitches at the encoding part on RPi, but this might be (my) a problem by gstreamer and/or it's encoding settings (help welcome).
