@oswald_c Implemented in commit https://github.com/nphantasm/soundkonverter/commit/87a37e10642f67c4d59caa8d7f677263cb88ed4a

Thank you for the report.

When running under Wayland on KDE, soundkonverter-dark-theme-git shows a generic Wayland icon in the task manager instead of its own icon.

Is there a way of implementing the QGuiApplication::desktopFileName() fix outlined here - https://nicolasfella.de/posts/fixing-wayland-taskbar-icons/ ?

Thank you for this! Not only does it include your patch for dark themes, it also includes all the fixes from the last upstream release in October 2017 up to the archiving of the project In November 2022. I understand the developer wanting to step back from the project, but it would have been helpful if he had pushed a final release when archiving it on GitHub as it had been a five year gap since the previous one.

So this AUR package is the one to install if you want to use a bug reduced soundKonverter. Thank you again.
