Since I no longer intend to use distributions with systemd for personal use, I will abandon this package no earlier than 2015-09-01. Should someone be interested in maintaining this package afterwards, he or she can contact me in the interim to become co-maintainer and then sole maintainer once I leave, to ensure a smooth transition.

ah, there is a typo: 'x68_64' instead of 'x86_64'

No specific reason. I am used to call it LICENSE ( like in https://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/Arch_Packaging_Standards ) Actually for consistency, I think license.txt would even be better (same as in /usr/share/licenses/common/). Anyway I don't think the name is very important.

Ah, okay that makes sense, thank you. Regarding the PKGBUILDs - I'll try first alone and if it doesn't work I'll ask you for them, otherwise I won't get better at it^^ Just one more question, any reason why you rename the license from COPYING to LICENSE? Just so I know if I should to it do.

Hi, concerning the || return 1 it is an habit from some time ago. Maybe makepkg can handle the error now, but I know for sure that some time ago it would build the package even if an "cp" or "install" line failed. I put some messages in your forum thread so that we know how to handle optional dependencies with libx11 and tcsh. Since you are doing the other packages (I also have some PKGBUILD if you need) I am orphaning this one and you can take it over. I think it is better if only one person is maintaining the package that depends to one another :) Plus it is less work for me :p
