The
--user rootoption has been dropped in npm v7 and it now just installs a package calledrootwhen you do that (see https://www.reddit.com/r/archlinux/comments/o3y03g/i_adopted_10_nodejs_aur_packages_that_conflict/ or https://bugs.archlinux.org/task/69912), so please remove line33of the PKGBUILD.
