It seems that -pthread is still needed. Without it, I get a bunch of:

/usr/bin/ld: ssr_brs.o: undefined reference to symbol 'pthread_create@@GLIBC_2.2.5'

To build this i had to comment out this line: #git checkout c++11-threads and add --disable-ip-interface to ./configure

@Scimmia: Correct. I used it for debugging purposes and just forgot to remove it again, so it found its way into the PKGBUILD. Fixed.

Using $pkgver in the file/dir name of the source for a -git package makes no sense at all.
