Note: latest commit is broken, see this issue:

https://github.com/sickill/stderred/issues/82

Use commit cdd04aeeeace5e223c1825e4f7299ddb2cea8e19 to get a working version

@aero: No, actually that’s my bad. I fixed this in the lib32- version now. In any case it should now be possible to build the non-lib32 version without needing a multilib-environment.

@eigengrau: I already had gcc-libs-multilib installed. I'm using yaourt to install the package. It turns out that installing gcc-multilib fixed the problem. Is this intended though, since you said it's not necessary?

Hello, aero. This looks like you’re building the package via «makepkg --nodeps», since the error is the one you get when trying to build lib32- packages without a multilib gcc (note that this is a split package). Unfortunately afaik it’s currently not possible to have «makedepends» in a split package depend on the package name, so that we had to makedepend on gcc-libs-multilib. I’ve unsplit this package now, so that lib32- is a separate PKGBUILD. This should allow you to build stderred-git without requiring a multilib environment.

Has anyone had the following problem? "The C compiler "/usr/bin/cc" is not able to compile a simple test program." It seems to be a library incompatibility issue ("/usr/bin/ld: skipping incompatible") but I'm not sure if this is related to this package or not.

@simon-v: seems like a reasonable idea. I’ve made this a split package.

Would it be possible to provide a lib32- version as well, for people in a multilib environment?

I didn’t notice this was on the old AUR as well, so the PKGBUILD is a rewrite. Let me know if there are problems.
