@mikedal looks like it doesn't work with JDKs since 8. If you're down to keep a JDK8 install around, you can hard-code which java binary to use in /etc/subsonic.conf by setting JAVA_HOME at the top of the script to /usr/lib/jvm/java-8-openjdk or what have you.

It might be worth changing the package to depend on java-runtime-headless <= 8

6.1.3 is here in pre-release, but I haven't been able to figure out how to directly download from sourceforge yet. Probably will just wait for 6.1.3 to hit the website. https://sourceforge.net/projects/subsonic/files/subsonic/6.1.3

Has anyone else had trouble running 6.1? After updating, the service starts, but I get 503s from jetty. I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling subsonic, but nothing changed. Potentially related is that I also recently updated my jdk from 8 to 9. Here is a pastebin of my logs, I haven't been able to make much sense of them: https://pastebin.com/vBSEHyLN

** If you update from 6.1beta1 you need to restore a backup of your database! ** If you are upgrading from an older version, you should be fine. The database upgrade done in 6.1b1 has been reverted by upstream.

The 6.1 beta1 release has been withdrawn. I'll have to leave this package as it is currently though (so, broken), because if I go back to 6.0 I may break the databases of those who have already updated.

Anybody knows what's missing if only .ogg from my collection are displayed? Seems to be unable to cope with the mp3s.
