No issues building the package. Installs and runs OK. Thank you for maintaining this.

This package does not detect the GPU encoder, and reverts to software encoding. If I drop the v0.23.0.AppImage back in, hardware encoding works fine. I can always log in through the web interface, so both are using the same config.

My card is a RTX 4060. Latest Arch drivers installed, NvENC/NvFBC patches applied.

I had issue with libappindicator-gtk3 too. Running makepkg with --cleanbuild option solved it for me.

Please note that I will not be able to update to 0.23.0 until next week. I will test with/without libappindicator-gtk3 and add a dependency if needed.

Hello!

On my system running the latest version 0.22.2-1, libappindicator-gtk3 is required at runtime or else Sunshine fails to launch, complaining that it cannot find libappindicator3.so.1

0.22.2 fixes the SUNSHINE_MIGRATE_CONFIG problem so I have deleted my previous comment to avoid misunderstandings.

It builds fine for me without icu73/icu73-bin

mfdeux commented on 2024-03-15 13:58 (UTC)

Unless icu73 or icu73-bin is installed, this will not compile. Could you please add it as a dependency?

sudo was removed as requested.

command in post_upgrade() and post_install() is already have root permission, add sudo or doas before command is unnecessary.
