@pc00per, the point of this program is to have DYNAMIC swap as opposite to static one. You can set a minimum swap, but swapspace will dynamically increase it if needed. This way you can have infinite swap as long you have space on your root partition.

I kinda don't understand how to use this. init file says it needs swap.service to be enabled too. But if I create my own swapfile & mkswap on it, what's the point of this program? Really need installation procedure from groundup @chungy @toastercup

configure error can be fixed by adding '--install' option to autoreconf in PKGBUILD

'autoreconf --install' rather than 'autoreconf'

configure.ac:30: error: required file './config.sub' not found

autoreconf: error: automake failed with exit status: 1

Since latest version swapspace.service is changed, so swap is not automatically removed on service restart. Should this be reported here or upstream? Old service had ExecStop=/usr/bin/swapspace -e

armv7h compiles and installs just fine.

The new version fix the problem. I can confirm, that the error message does not appear any more. Thank you very much for your quick response.

I've been able to test this thoroughly, the target systemd decides to delete changes at random, swapspace might be included in that. I've changed it so it has WantedBy=multi-user.target instead, and this shouldn't fail. You might need to delete your /etc/systemd/system/swap.target.wants/swapspace.service on upgrading. The best route is probably to do "systemctl disable swapspace.service" before upgrading, then do an enable again after upgrading.

Since some weeks I get this error message during boot: systemd[1]: sysinit.target: Job swap.target/start deleted to break ordering cycle starting with sysinit.target/start This seems to be related to swapspace. But swapspace is still working fine.
