As long as it still works and there are no serious CVEs, I see no reason why it would be removed. But that decision is not mine to make...

Hi, Sxiv has been archived by the owner on Jan 16, 2023. It is now read-only. Will this mean the package is going to be removed from the AUR? I got this info from the GitHub Page.

Yes, it is your responsibility to check for changes in config.def.h

To add to my previous comment... it appears that in config.def.h "PAN_FRACTION" is declared, but not in config.h.

Copying the definition from config.def.h into config.h solved the problem for me.

cutuchiqueno I just create a separate branch that contains my config.h and then I can git pull from here without overwriting that file, checkout that branch and then build against head and my customisations are applied.

can you explain quickly how to use a custom config.h while using this PKGBUILD? I had a log at the file but did not understand it enough to get the information out of it and also searched the corresponding forum without finding the necessary information. Thx.
