@asm0dey the dependencies of this package are well defined Have you installed base and base-devel package groups? pod2man is installed as part of base package (with perl). https://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/Arch_User_Repository#Prerequisites

Right now when I try to install this package with pacaur I get exception `/bin/sh: pod2man: command not found`. Could you please add package, providing pod2man as build dependency for this package? Also I can see following lines: ``` cc -march=x86-64 -mtune=generic -O2 -pipe -fstack-protector-strong -fno-plt -I include -o tasknc src/keys.o src/log.o src/common.o src/tasklist.o src/statusbar.o src/tasknc.o src/sort.o src/test.o src/pager.o src/tasks.o src/formats.o src/color.o src/command.o -lncursesw fatal: No names found, cannot describe anything. ``` but I don't know if that's error. Thank you!

I'm adopting this package because I've become the maintainer of the upstream project. It should build and install correctly now.

I'm not using this project anymore and will no longer be maintaining the package

I added one more patch that prevents it from shutting down when a filter returns an empty list of tasks by clearing the filter instead.

I updated the package to include some patches I wrote (and submitted upstream) which do the following: 1. Fix the build process so the PKGBUILD doesn't need to use a hack. 2. Update the sync command to use 'task sync' instead of 'task merge && task push'. 3. Improve the formatting of the manpage (it's still not perfect), and change references to merge+push to sync.

This is a package for the same project as tasknc-git, but this package has the correct dependencies, it complies with current standards and satisfies namcap, and it installs to /usr instead of /usr/local. That said, if the tasknc-git package wants to pull in this package, I'd happily accept merging the two.
