Due to a change of version labeling, it is necessary to reinstall this package completely. This also means to clean the cache. This is the right way of labeling the versions as it will continue to ensure to get an update from now on.

Ahoj,

Due to a change of version labeling, it is necessary to reinstall this package completely.

Actually, you need to increment the $epoch variable in that case (set epoch=1 if not yet specified).

By the way, tea4cups-svn now has been deleted, I suggest that you rename this package to tea4cups-git with tea4cups-py3-git in the replaces array.

Regards!

Thanks for this package!

Can you make the description to include what this package actually is?

And can you add tea4cups to the conflicts array?

And I am actually going to delete tea4cups-svn due to problematic python2 dependencies. Maybe after that we can rename this package to tea4cups-git, with tea4cups-py3-git in the replaces array.

Regards!

@dreieck I actually had the code in, but it didn't work (forgot to set the variable). I also forgot to do commit and push the commit. I just published an updated PKGBUILD.

In tea4cups-svn, I create /var/spool/tea4cups with matching ownership and permissions when building the package. Maybe you want to adopt that, and remove the note from the .install-file?

Also, what about including tea4cups' own notion of it's version in the $pkgver? E.g.

cat tea4cups | sed -n -E 's|^[[:space:]]*__version__[[:space:]]*=[[:space:]]*(.*)$|\1|p' | tr -d \"\'

@dreieck OK, will do.

Is it a drop-in replacement for tea4cups? Then, please add to provides: tea4cups=${pkgver}.
