@mluque Yes, it seems that Microsoft is doing the wrong thing and has deleted the packages from the repository. There are several open threads on this topic.

The truth is that since the announcement that Microsoft was going to withdraw the Teams client, one does not know what is going to happen. I hope they restore the files, but in the meantime I have uploaded the binaries here (they are the Arch packages, I don't have the original .deb packages but if someone passes them to me I can include them).

Please, before flag as Out-of-date perform a double check in versions. Version 1.4.00.4855 is higher than 1.3.00.30857, 1.3.00.5153 or 1.3.00.958.

If you doubt, please remember the math classes and perform a count 1, 2, 3, 4, ..., 958, 959, ..., 5152, 5153, 5154, ..., 30856, 30857, 30858, etc.

@mimma, please switch back to the x11. For me screen share doesn't work only with wayland.

@mimma there is no such version, and the linux version of this app was killed by microsoft. Use PWA version, screen share works fine there.

In the latest 1.15 version, the share screen doesn't work.

I suggest to add the package noto-fonts-emoji as dependency. Will fix the missing emoji icons in the list of chat users, where without it only a small square is being shown in case an emoji is a last message from another user.

@mohamed-g15 afaik there's no way to get rid of that - it seems to be a bug that MS graced the Linux users with prior to abandoning this client entirely (this is no longer maintained or updated my microsoft).

I've been using the unofficial teams-for-linux AUR package for the past few months. It works well, it's being improved/updated, and it uses the newer teams interface.

how can I disable the popup that appears in every meating in the bootom of screen upper than the control buttons row. the popup that shows a message which is "using custom setup" here is a screenshot that appears this message https://drive.google.com/file/d/1lBShUfG4M57hWL9mtFKhmo2FmWuOtQbi/view?usp=drive_link it's annoying because it appears during the whole meeting and even in full screen mode.

I also want to know are the keyboard shortcuts to unmute and mute and to enter full screen ....

There is an unofficial Electron packaged app, which has a Flatpak, and works better than this old deprecated version.
