Note to all: the font has (once again) changed names. It is no longer called "Inter-UI"; it is now called just "Inter". Please update your configurations.

it has just been renamed

Yeah, you're right. I looked at some of the official packages, and they are not consistent as you mentioned. Ignore my comment as it seems there isn't a clear preference for Arch as a whole. :)

Hi @saildata, I followed the lead of some other font packages that I use (noto, adobe-source-code-pro-fonts, etc) and installed them into their own directory. Is there an official standard for this? I see official packages that install to different places.

saildata commented on 2017-09-12 13:06

Thanks for updating the package. I noticed that the latest version installs into `"${pkgdir}/usr/share/fonts`, wouldn't it make more sense to put it in `"${pkgdir}/usr/share/fonts/TTF`?

chrissnell commented on 2017-08-29 13:55

Good catch @saildata. Updated to v1.4 and switched to the hinted TTF fonts.

saildata commented on 2017-08-29 03:09

- Version 1.4 is available
- Shouldn't the package name be otf-interface? The fonts installed are OTF not TTF.
- TTF is available. The best/easiest solution would probably be to update the PKGBUILD for the correct file type, and create another AUR package for OTF.
Thanks -
