I realize this package is quite old and nobody really cares about updating it anymore, but nevertheless I found a problem with it as well as the solution. The source for the .zip containing the .ttf files does not work with the PKGBUILD. Changing it to: "https://neverwintervault.org/sites/neverwintervault.org/files/project/3383/files/neverworld.zip" solves the issue.
