The URL update you're asking for was made about a year ago.
Regarding your other comments see the release package's comment section, where you posted them, too.

From https://github.com/louis77/tuner

Relocation notice!

The canonical repository for Tuner is [on
Codeberg](https://codeberg.org/tuner/tuner) but we maintain [a
mirror on GitHub](https://github.com/louis77/tuner) for the
time being in order to ease the transition. Please update your links
and git remotes.

Can you please symlink /usr/bin/com.github.louis77.tuner → /usr/bin/tuner?

Remember that the Makefile and "make xyz" provided by the developer is a generic linux build procedure.

It is not to be followed blindly by the PKGBUILD.

It is supposed to be adapted to follow the Archlinux conventions and standards.

Still, no /usr/bin/tuner symlink.

It worked until I installed bluetooth and therefore pulse audio. No sound. Compiled again. No errors but no sound either. Starts with:

** (com.github.louis77.tuner:9220): CRITICAL **: 00:50:43.934: Settings.vala:95: GDBus.Error:org.freedesktop.DBus.Error.ServiceUnknown: The name org.freedesktop.Accounts was not provided by any .service files

This error disappears after installing accountsservice package, but still no sound.

pio, milkii:
This is most likely a problem due to the upstream migration to another hoster. In particular, as this involved renaming the default branch.
The package is now adjusted accordingly, and I would expect the problem to disappear if you rebuild after deleting any local checkout of the upstream repository.
Feel free to report back otherwise.

I encountered the same error, but if you were using yay to build it, select [A]ll at Packages to cleanBuild?, or remove the cached files if you were using some other AUR helper. Then it builds fine, at least here. So I think the PKGBUILD is OK for now, but the source should be changed to Codeberg as previously said.

Put brain in gear before pressing enter10:37:57-->Fri Oct 14-->~ -->sudo pacman -Ql tuner | grep bin

tuner /usr/bin/

tuner /usr/bin/com.github.louis77.tuner

Above is how you find the command to start the program just in case you were wondering folks.

Program works well on my fairly standard Arch install.

"com.github.louis77.tuner" is a pretty silly way to run a program, not very KISS is it. Neat little program which works well. ;-)

Currently failing with:

Run-time dependency libsoup-2.4 found: YES 2.74.2
Run-time dependency json-glib-1.0 found: YES 1.6.6
Found CMake: /usr/bin/cmake (3.22.0)
WARNING: CMake Toolchain: Failed to determine CMake compilers state
Run-time dependency libgeoclue-2.0 found: NO (tried pkgconfig and cmake)

meson.build:42:0: ERROR: Dependency "libgeoclue-2.0" not found, tried pkgconfig and cmake

A full log can be found at /dev/shm/aurydesty/tuner-git/src/tuner/_build/meson-logs/meson-log.txt
==> ERROR: A failure occurred in build().
    Aborting...

As another user as stated already this is most probably an issue with libgeoclue dependencies.

Can you please rename the executable /usr/bin/com.github.louis77.tuner to /usr/bin/tuner or so?

The cryptic name com.github.louis77.tuner is not what one searches for when wanting to start a programme called "tuner". (pressung tun<tab> does not reveal anything. I had to go through pacman -Ql tuner-git | grep bin to actually find the executable.)

Thanks for maintaining!
