For any newcomers, note that the suggestion of ogarcia (2017!) below was never applied to the package. Just do that in PKGBUILD and the dependency problems are solved. I guess there is no maintainer for this package.

Hi Bidulock, Can you update the package version from 5.1.28 to 5.2.2? sed -i 's/^pkgver=5.1.28/pkgver=5.2.2/' PKGBUILD It's working with linux kernel 4.9.65-1-lts Thx, Laurent.

Must change provides from provides=('VIRTUALBOX-HOST-MODULES-LTS') to provides=('VIRTUALBOX-HOST-MODULES') and do the same in guest-modules from provides=('VIRTUALBOX-GUEST-MODULES-LTS') to provides=('VIRTUALBOX-GUEST-MODULES') to fix dependency problems.

Just install virtualbox-host-modules-arch from community before virtualbox. I do not know why community does not build virtualbox-host-modules-lts together with virtualbox-host-modules-arch. The lts version is probably more useful as a binary.

virtualbox-host-modules-lts and virtualbox-host-dkms are in conflict. But when i try to install virtualbox, it forces me to install virtualbox-host-dkms too
