Note that grep 2.21 will break w3watch's parsing for many sites. E.g.: $ lynx -dump http://git.xfce.org/xfce/exo/ | grep snapshot/exo Binary file (standard input) matches In the example above, lynx's output is treated as binary because of the following change in grep 2.21: "If a file contains data improperly encoded for the current locale, and this is discovered before any of the file's contents are output, grep now treats the file as binary." This can be solved by specifying "character_set=UNICODE (UTF-8)" in $HOME/.lynxrc, but ideally w3watch would need to somehow pass this option to lynx. (I can't see a command option for this.)

Note: version 1.0.1 has a bug whih removed all cache files. This version did not notfiy about any website changes.
