Upstream is an opensource project, but why this non-bin package is repackaged from a binary release instead of building from source?

For people that have the problem of segmentation fault, you could compile the package yourself or try my AppImage: http://yichaozhou.com/uploads/wewechat-1.1.7-linux-x86_64.AppImage

I think PKGBUILD has an error on line 21, it should be wewechat (not weweChat), so:

ln -s /opt/wewechat/wewechat ${pkgdir}/usr/bin/
