Not so popular, java backend and now with whitebox-tools it could be integrated in qgis with processing algs so you could rely on automation, etl, more public and may be later using it as wps with qgis server

I used 'yaourt -S whitebox' to install. Got v3.3.0., not v3.4.0.

Edit PKGBUILD Find pkgver=3.2.3 replace by pkgver=3.2.2

Looking at updating but it relies on Java 8, which is in the AUR as jre-devel - but need to make sure it won't conflict with Java 7.
