@Alex_Boutros what happens when you run /usr/bin/wink.sh from terminal?

Spacecraft commented on 2020-02-03 21:28 (UTC)

Installs fine but will not run.

builds fine here. i wonder what's in your GZIP variable and whether it improves when you do unset GZIP prior to running makepkg

i have made the following adjustments to PKGBUILD: - bigger application icon (extracted from wink resources) - if active numlock is detected a warning is displayed using xmessage (with numlock the shortcuts will not work) - mime types (.wnk files will also get an icon) - cleaned up PKGBUILD a bit also it may be useful to know that: - rightclicking the tray icon while the application window is *not* minimized to tray almost always results in a segmentation fault. if you first minimize to tray and then click it, the context menu is popped up and works fine - oddly looking dialogs and widgets are caused (at least in my case) by adwaita gtk theme. as a quick fix you can try to rename /usr/share/themes/Adwaita/gtk-2.0 to /usr/share/themes/Adwaita/gtk-2.0_disabled.

@jose1711 could you add integration into 'open with' functionality?

notuxius commented on 2017-01-04 12:57 (UTC)

jose1711, I use https://github.com/alexandre-mbm/arch-pkgs to manage issues in my PKGBUILDs.

jose1711, I think that we can track the last binaries of linked libraries that were working.

alexandre, this is a binary-only package so not sure what can be done here. maybe it broke due to some architectural changes in gtk?
