Although other Xbox gamepad drivers are now available, this package is still useful as an input remapper for programs that support only Xbox controllers.

This package now uses a new repo based on the original stable branch. I plan to merge some fixes/updates from other repos.

I see. Alright, I have revoked my deletion request and disowned the package.

@MarsSeed There are a lot of post-release commits + fixes + patches. More sensible to combine them all in a git repo.

MarsSeed commented on 2024-04-04 06:48 (UTC)

@xiota, shouldn't it be enough to keep the stable xboxdrv package? As upstream has not been developed since 2022.

It seems like the source for this is currently not available: https://gitlab.com/xboxdrv/xboxdrv (404)

yes, fmt is missing. Installed it and it compiles fine

heyrict commented on 2021-03-18 11:24 (UTC)

There seems another dependency fmt for this package. It refuses to compile without that.

CMake Error at CMakeLists.txt:51 (find_package):
By not providing "Findfmt.cmake" in CMAKE_MODULE_PATH this project has
asked CMake to find a package configuration file provided by "fmt", but
  CMake did not find one.

Could not find a package configuration file provided by "fmt" with any of
  the following names:

    fmtConfig.cmake
    fmt-config.cmake

Add the installation prefix of "fmt" to CMAKE_PREFIX_PATH or set "fmt_DIR"
to a directory containing one of the above files. If "fmt" provides a
separate development package or SDK, be sure it has been installed.

I have added nvllsvm as co-maintainer, I had lost the 2 2020-09 comments in the flow of messages.

By the way git submodules need to be configured in source=() and prepare instead of simply using "git submodule update --init --recursive"
