Updated !! - Note: For those of us that have been long-time users, we never saw this as the program was doing this chore for us....ALAS, this is no longer the case. SO, the new wrapper script should take care of everything needed/wanted.

BTW, this IS (or WAS) documented as an alsa program but I am THRILLED you found a way to use it with pulse.

MightyPork commented on 2022-01-09 01:38 (UTC)

Out of the box, the program does not work. It creates "~/.xdemorserc" at start, but does not use it. Instead, it expects "~/.xdemorse/" with "xdemorse.glade", "xdemorse.svg" and "xdemorserc" - but it can't create the folder and shows an error. These files must be copied from "/usr/share/examples/xdemorse/", then - after changing "sound card" in the config file to "pulse", it starts to work.

I unflagged this package as it IS the last package version that is compatible with gtk2.

I am planning to "script-up" a version for gtk3 VERY shortly. Tnxs for the patience.
