Hello, IMO all xdman8 pkgbuilds on AUR should be renamed to xdman-beta or xdman-dev since typically adding the number to pkgname is used for legacy version

Should not use replaces. Should not provides xdman8-beta-git. Should provides xdman, xdman8, and/or xdman8-beta.

Shouldn't dotnet publish be moved to build? Also gendesk makedepend kinda doesn't make sense as you can do the same with echo ~~+ sed~~. I'm not sure about the name too, shouldn't it be just named xdman-git?
