The pkgver() function can be updated to: ``` git describe --long --tags | sed 's/\([^-]*-g\)/r\1/;s/-/./g' ``` Which will generate: ``` 0.5.7.r0.gdc34b20 ``` As the version string.

I think I fixed it, sorry about that. I misunderstood the versioning.

oats ❤ Can you check the version spec? The pkgver that’s currently set is newer than the result of running pkgver(), so AUR helpers will think that xdo-git should be rebuilt all the time.

Hi, The latest update introduced an issue whereby it is not recognised as updated. Whenever I run "pacuar -Syu" it show there is an updated version of this package, and a re-install and removal of the pacaur cache does not address it. Not sure if this helps, but this is the relevant output: AUR Packages: aur/xdo-git Old Version: 0.r46.442cc44-1 New Version: latest Please let me know if you require additional information.
