TouchPad On/Off works, but LED doesn't? Try reinstall "synaptics-led" (it should be reinstalled when kernel is updated). I don't know how to do this automatically. And please show this: "journalctl -b | grep kernel | grep synaptics"

LED doesn't work for me. Here is my log https://pastebin.com/DnfrPNB7 /sys/class/leds/psmouse::synaptics/brightness changes (0 and 255), but indicator still doesn't work

dhemaseka, please show: modinfo psmouse And try to change line in led_support.patch, that force check of led support: priv->synpara.has_led = !access(SYNAPTICS_LED_SYS_FILE, W_OK); to priv->synpara.has_led = 1;

Sorry for a late reply, Yes, I only have one kernel installed. Here the output of that command: extramodules-4.4-ARCH And now I cant use my touchpad, it said no driver loaded. I really want this driver work but I dont know what to do

vantu5z commented on 2016-02-28 02:38 (UTC)

Hi, dhemaseka! Do you have only one kernel installed? This command: find /usr/lib/modules -name version | sed 's|\/usr\/lib\/modules\/||; s|\/version||' have to give only one dir, if not, you have to edit "synaptics-led" PKGBUILD and set dir where to install "psmouse.ko.gz". If somebody know how to make "psmouse.ko.gz" installed to every extramodules dir, it will be great. That is not my driver, i just apply patch to newer version. xf86-input-synaptics-led work with synaptics-led and make possible the led work and can disable/enable touchpad with double-clicking top-left edge of touchpad.
