OK. Btw: 2.1.4 is out. Please update (especially because I accidently messed up the tags in my github repo, so that 2.1.3 doesn't fit to the md5 hash in PKGBUILD. Sorry!!)

All files in /usr/share/themes/CobiBird are readable by anyone. In addition I removed (renamed) my ~/.config directory and restarted X to test whether one of my custom config files causes this issue, but I have no clue what is wrong here, nothing has changed. I think I give it up now. :)

Hmm, it seems to assign the icon files, but doesn't load them. Are the permissions for the icon files correct (readable for your user)?

When you double-click in the view in the screenshot, you can switch to CSS Nodes, where you get the properties

@ngaba: the bugfix in 2.1.3 was about thick black borders for c-s-d windows. I still can't reproduce those missing window button icons. Do you know how to handle GTK3 inspector? If yes, could you take a look into the applied style for those buttons on your machine and check if they have a background-image assigned to them?
