I don't think this package should become a place for collecting Xorg "bugfixes". Or that such "bugfixes" package should even exist. There are various patches for Xorg floating around, some are opinionated, and criteria for accepting those patches would be vague.

I've kept this package strictly to original xorg bug 865 for years and intend to keep it like this for the foreseeable future.

In that comment @yochananmarqos thought we should merge xorg-server-bug865-issue1578 in to this package, what's your opinion? @kyak

Fail build. Maybe meson genererate wrong command:

Works as intended in X11 session, but is there any way to make this patch work in Wayland session on KDE Plasma?
