@haagch Please add 'git' to makedepends. If 'git' is not installed, this error will show when building the package: ==> ERROR: Cannot find the git package needed to handle git sources.

Ha, I thought I had added it but I typoed makdepends instead of makedepends. Thanks for the comment, fixed.

I can confirm the missing dependency reported by @doublej472 : I had to manually install python-attrs as well.

This package has a missing dependency on python-attrs, it failed to build without it.
