@dusansimic Please diff @yochananmarqos's version with your own (afaict it's only --extra-source=remoteAccess.js that's added) and update this package. Currently this package is non functional.

@juxuanu: Use my PKGBUILD for now.

juxuanu commented on 2022-07-27 00:10 (UTC) (edited on 2022-07-27 00:13 (UTC) by juxuanu)

I get an error: "No JS module 'remoteAccess' found in search path" and the extension can't be activated.

Why not use the upstream recommended method? The "Get it here" link in the README.md: https://gitlab.gnome.org/fmuellner/quick-settings-extension/-/jobs/artifacts/main/raw/quick-settings@fmuellner.gnome.org.shell-extension.zip?job=build-bundles

You'd only need to unpack. Much more maintanable since upstream handles the packaging.

@yochananmarqos thanks for the comment! I've switched the PKGBUILD to use bsdtar

Missing build dependency on unzip, however bsdtar can be used instead:

bsdtar xvf quick-settings@fmuellner.gnome.org.shell-extension.zip -C "${pkgdir}${_extensiondir}/"
