@mobit Seems like you just got really unlucky and were impacted by a GitHub change that they have since reverted: https://github.blog/changelog/2023-01-30-git-archive-checksums-may-change/

While I was already at it, I updated the package to v3.21.2.

Please try installing again, it should work as expected now.

@freb You are correct. The examples folder some time ago only used to contain files. Updated to set sub-directories to 755 and files to 644. Also bumped to latest version.

I think the directories under /usr/share/amass/examples have the wrong permissions. Seems like read access to the files under that path and execute permissions on the directories should be permitted by all users. There are wordlists stored there which can currently only be accessed by root.
