uhh... actually i temporary fixed it locally by using a #commit= hash instead of a #tag= hash... i think that would probably be a better idea

@somebody Fixed used git checkout b83f719460ccfad52bf9f2bf0a5f9ab73bde3cc3. Unsure if that will work for users without git configured. We'll see. Don't hesitate to comment if you find more stuff that doesn't work, after it gets fixed upstream!

mind temporarily updating to b83f719460ccfad52bf9f2bf0a5f9ab73bde3cc3? not sure how acceptable that is since it isn't part of a release... but as it is right now, Avalonia#7245 (https://github.com/AvaloniaUI/Avalonia/issues/7245) is making this crash quite a lot

@somebody Sorry I must have missed the flagging, updated!

any chance of getting an update? as an added bonus i'd finally be able to remove dotnet-runtime-3.1...

necklace commented on 2021-06-29 21:15 (UTC)

@animi Thanks! Wish I knew that I could do that earlier, luckily they have released 7.0 RC 2 with the patch included now so I just updated the package to that.

Hi, could you add -c user.name and -c user.email to the git cherry-pick command? This makes it work for users that haven't set these globally.

I already had dotnet-runtime-3.1, it happened that it wasn't 3.1.13 on ArchLinux repos yet. It updated recently and the package started working again.

That's really weird considering it was working fine before. Either way, it's fixable by installing dotnet-runtime-3.1 so I've added that as a dependency. Thanks!
