@remcycles, @gox, thank you so much, guys! xorg-fonts-misc did the job, therefore I updated the package. A reboot will be necessary in case that packages had to be installed with it.

I'm pretty sure "xorg-fonts-misc" just needs to be added to the PKGBUILD depends list. That package contains the 10x20 and 5x7 fonts. Like @gox, installing that one package and restarting gets baudline working for me. It's not a problem that SigBlips should fix.
I'm not sure xorg-fonts-100dpi and xorg-fonts-75dpi are needed, but I haven't tested.

Hi everyone, I downloaded baudline from baudline.com site and after running the executable (I didn't used this AUR package), I got the same error as @helldrak mentioned. For me the issue was resolved after installing following packages: xorg-fonts-100dpi, xorg-fonts-75dpi, xorg-fonts-alias, xorg-fonts-misc, xorg-fonts-type1. After installing the mentioned packages, I rebooted my PC and baudline is working without any issues.

helldrak, sorry, no response from them. Bad news... sigh.

@reztho: so, I guess you’ve not received any answer from SigBlips… Or do you have some news? All the best,

I found out that by restarting multiple times will fix the issue, your mileage may vary and it might take a few tries.

@reztho: Thanks a lot for your soon answer and your mail to SigBlips. Let’s hope !

helldrak, baudline's broken in my system too. I thinks baudline needs to be updated. I contacted SigBlips... It's been a long time since they updated the website or baudline itself, so let's hope for the best.
