There is a dependency missing in this package: root@server:~# ldd /usr/lib/sane/libsane-brother3.so.1.0.7 | grep found libusb-0.1.so.4 => not found root@server:~# root@server:~# pkgfile /usr/lib/libusb-0.1.so.4 extra/libusb-compat root@server:~# Could you please add 'libusb-compat' to depends in PKGBUILD?

I get this error when I run xsane: bugchk_free(ptr=(nil))@brother_modelinf.c(467)

To use the .5 release of the Brother drivers, I updated my PKGBUILD to match this gist: https://gist.github.com/peteonrails/5084028#file-pkgbuild I have an x86_64 system, therefore I did not test the i386 driver version (it probably does not work.) If this package is no longer maintained, I'm happy to take over.
