Sorry, 0.6.0 was not packageable due to a bug resulting in writes to the package directory (https://github.com/cxong/cdogs-sdl/issues/402). This is now fixed in 0.6.1.

This game also comes with an editor, the package does not install it for some reason. Please include the editor in the package as well.

I found some issues with your tarball. AUR guidelines suggest to not include binaries. Take for example: cdogs/cdogs.png Other TUs seems to think an icon or two is okay, but maybe you should ask upstream to include it. Thank you.
