Failure in check() indicates that the setup script has been changed. Please flag the package out of date if this happens.

The packaged application now requires you to choose a CEWE partner when first run. The partner can be changed later in the "Service" section of the settings.

If the application reports a new version, you can OK the update and it will make and install an updated Arch package. (You will need your sudo password.)

Thank you! Yes, I found out :p Just for information, I tried different approaches, but in the end you'll end up with something like: "The downloading of the file 'https://dls.photoprintit.com/download/Data/28611-en_GB/hps/38-index-7.0.4.txt' has failed." Where 28611 is the KEYACCID for Norway, and en_GB is the locale for UK. I read the error to mean that they simply don't have an English install for Norway. I considered merging a UK install and a Norwegian install, but it's a mess as things grip wildly into each other (e.g. the locale is used to generate country codes which are used for postal addresses somehow). Now, I could use the Norwegian version, but I'm peculiar and don't like to mix languages on my computer, so I'll use my work PC for this. It's messed up already, running Windows haha. Thanks for the info though!

The CEWE software is available in various languages for different countries (see http://www.cewe-photobook.com/). They differ in name, in language and in the partners through whom the products are ordered, and the download urls for the setup script include the name and a partner account id as well as the language code, so you can't just swap out the language code. You can't get (for example) an English language version that would work with German partners by hacking the language code in the installation script, because the combination of key account number and language code is included in the url of the list of the urls for program components, and in half of those urls as well.

If you want to package a different version, the PKGBUILD now (August 2021) includes the parameters for a few, and you can also feed it the name of a setup file in an environment variable.

Thanks for packaging this! Do you know if the install is German only (I couldn't find any language settings)?

Changing the service partner is also possible in service settings.

CEWE OnlineFotoservice has been renamed to Fotowelt. I have created a new package at cewe-fotowelt and will request a merge after the next version change.
