hi, after this commit qoauth package is not needed anymore, now is qt5-networkauth used.

GillesC commented on 2015-09-23 13:46 (UTC)

Hi, I have struggled for a few weeks already, being unable to compile. I cannot find the implied package, but each time I want to compile choqok-git, I get the following message: "[ 35%] Building CXX object plugins/imstatus/CMakeFiles/choqok_imstatus.dir/imqdbus.cpp.o (...)/aur-choqok-git/src/choqok/plugins/imstatus/imqdbus.cpp: Dans la fonction membre ‘void IMQDBus::useKopete(const QString&)’: (...)/aur-choqok-git/src/choqok/plugins/imstatus/imqdbus.cpp:88:18: erreur: invalid use of incomplete type ‘class QDebug’ qWarning() << "Failed with error:" << rep.errorMessage(); ^ In file included from /usr/include/qt/QtCore/qglobal.h:1100:0, from /usr/include/qt/QtCore/qnamespace.h:37, from /usr/include/qt/QtCore/qobjectdefs.h:41, from /usr/include/qt/QtCore/qobject.h:40, from /usr/include/qt/QtCore/QObject:1, from (...)/aur-choqok-git/src/choqok/plugins/imstatus/imqdbus.h:27, from (...)/aur-choqok-git/src/choqok/plugins/imstatus/imqdbus.cpp:24: /usr/include/qt/QtCore/qlogging.h:51:7: note: forward declaration of ‘class QDebug’ class QDebug; " Any clue? Thanls!

Merging in choqok-git

arojas commented on 2015-03-23 21:09 (UTC)

Fixed, thanks

ilpianista commented on 2015-03-23 09:53 (UTC)

Also, description, please use ", GNU social and" (not strictly in this order). thanks

ilpianista commented on 2015-03-23 09:52 (UTC)

Hi, upstream url is wrong :-)

desaparecido commented on 2015-02-22 16:01 (UTC)

hi, thanks for this PKGBUILD ... I needed to add qoauth-git package to successfull build, with the qoauth version choqok builds fine but crash when add an account.

akurei commented on 2014-07-28 17:18 (UTC)

Actually I am not using choqok anymore, so I orphan this.

roentgen commented on 2014-07-28 17:05 (UTC)

Please update this package to use the VSC pacman standards.

The port to the new API has been merged in master and the xardas008 github repo doesn't work anymore, please update the PKGBUILD

QUOTE: Hi, I pushed my changes to so you can test and help me out a bit. What works: - Timelines (only via manuel update) - Writing Tweets - Reply - Retweet What doesn't work: - Search What needs to be tested: - (I have no time until monday and no account to test with) SOURCE:

akurei commented on 2013-06-15 11:05 (UTC)

That's right. Twitter shut down API Level 1.0 and thus choqok stopped working. xardas008 is a new developer after the original developer stopped working on choqok. I updated the PKGBUILD to reflect that. As soon as the original GIT repo is updated again, I am going to change the repo again.

post-factum commented on 2013-06-15 08:09 (UTC)

In order to get choqok usable after Twitter old API disabling, change git repo to git:// and git name to choqok_de. It works for me.

akurei commented on 2012-09-22 19:56 (UTC)

Good idea! Updated.

luolimao commented on 2012-09-22 18:40 (UTC)

Thanks :) Also, quick note: the package could use something like: and then you could add install='name_of_install_file.install' to the PKGBUILD.

I emailed roozbehonline for a fixed PKGBUILD. Meanwhile you can get it here:

This package is out of date, I believe the latest git is 20110714-1

RoozbehShafiee commented on 2011-03-12 19:10 (UTC)

PKGBUILD updated...

commented on 2011-03-08 03:15 (UTC)

I have tested both patches suggested by desaparecido y gauthma and both worked pretty fine. If the git url is not corrected in the PKGBUILD you got a timeout, also if quotes are not corrected in conflicted packages choqok is not properly removed.

desaparecido commented on 2011-02-06 14:38 (UTC)

the correct git root is git:// builded successfully...

gauthma commented on 2011-02-02 20:33 (UTC)

There are a couple of errors with the PKGBUILD: - where "conflicts=('choqok-svn choqok')", it should be ('choqok-svn' 'choqok'). I just attempted to install this with choqok installed, and pacman failed to detect any dependency conflict... - the git root is wrong (out of date?). Using it always results in timeout. The correct one is: git:// This is also wrong in choqok's site download page, but if you go to the development tab, and click on the link for the Official KDE Git repo, you'll get the correct url.

mr_spuck commented on 2010-11-11 19:21 (UTC)

Solved. When installing choqok-git docbook-xml gets installed before. Thanks.

RoozbehShafiee commented on 2010-11-09 18:46 (UTC)

I added docbook-xml to makedepends ! test it again :)

mr_spuck commented on 2010-11-09 18:26 (UTC)

Same for me. Installing docbook-xml fixed the problem for me. Therefore I suggest to include docbook-xml as a build dependency.

Eothred commented on 2010-11-08 09:51 (UTC)

Does not work for me, using kdemod on 64bit. ...
