Hi @solatis, the package builds and installs just fine but I noticed the digest for this package was produced using md5 which is proven to be broken. Do you mind using a sha2 or sha3 digest instead? Thanks!

Thanks @PanisSupraOmnia, i've released an update to the package which addresses quite a few of these. I added cloudflare-warp as a conflicting package, but the package appears to be gone anyway?

@a22a-dev, please try again with the update; i've now changed the url / validation to exactly the URL ubuntu focal uses, and the same md5sum that it uses.

I am unable to install this, gives validation error, and even fails to download the package altogther

Hi, I was looking at this package and found a few things that could be improved. The license type should be unknown since Cloudflare doesn't seem to provide one of their own. Because this is a bin package, cloudflare-warp needs to be explicitly added to the provides/conflicts arrays in case there's a source package someday. This package also depends on dbus, and there's no need to explicitly depend on glibc (per the Arch Wiki). Lastly, the installation steps could use some cleanup so that everything gets installed into the right place, right now the package installs some of the files into /usr/usr/. My sources for these changes come from the output of namcap and from the Arch Wiki.

Here's a link to my proposed changes, but definitely double check that I got everything right!

Ok, I've just updated the package with @Tarakula's source + hash in an attempt to fix it. Let me know if it does!

Well I don't know why the process of downloading is aborted repeatedly, however I downloaded the source file and moved it to Yay's cache, then I run yay -s cloudflare-warp-bin again and the update was OK.

@solatis I run these commands:

@locuaz I would be very curious to know what exactly the sha256sum of the package you're downloading is.

Additionally, do other people have the same issues with the checksum validation?
