Sorry for the Delay! I wanted to wait for 4.9, before fixing the Typo. I hope everthing works now as it should.

This version is unable to open files that have spaces in the path, since the first argument gets split up into multiple. Adding quotes around $1 (so it's "$1") in cura.sh fixes it.

Looks like there is an issue with the AppImage source download URL.

[...]github.com/Ultimaker/Cura/releases/download/4.8/[...]
It should be 4.8.0 instead of 4.8, otherwise we have a 404.
